Formerly called “Friends”, the group debuted at the Tap Room of Manila Hotel and at Intercontinental Hotel Manila in 1993. Two years later, the group took their final bow at the Sky Lounge of Manila Diamond Hotel and soon after christened as RHYTHM AND VOICES.
Engagements followed at various local hotel lounges and venues, among them the Vogue Lobby Lounge of the Ramada Hotel and at the Becks Bar of the Grand Boulevard Sofitel Hotel, both in 1999, the Podium Mall Activity Area between 1999 to 2004, Casino Filipino at Paranaque, Taytay and La Union sites between 2004 to 2006, the Hyatt Casino Lounge in 2007, and at the Lobby Lounge of the Makati Shangri-la between 2005 to 2010.
International performances included stints at the COEX Intercontinental Hotel in Seoul, South Korea in September 2004 to March 2005, at The Shilla Hotel, also in Seoul, from July to August 2007, and at the Genting Highlands Resorts World in Malaysia in December 2010 to June 2011. Currently, RHYTHM AND VOICES is performing weekly at CASINO FILIPINO PAVILION from June 2015
A once-a-year invitation to perform at Concert at the Park and Paco Park Presents, from 1995 up to the present, is also accommodated by the group, wherein they regale their audience in an open-theater style of entertainment in the two public park venues. Years earlier the performances were televised on national television.
